How to choose a conveyor system for your line
A useful conveyor enquiry starts with the product, the route and the work the line must do.

Start with the product and process
Record the product dimensions, weight and base shape. Note whether items need to accumulate, change direction, rise between levels or transfer between machines.
Throughput, available floor space and the environment matter too. A packaging line and a washdown process can place very different demands on a carrying surface and frame.
Compare the conveyor families
Rollers can suit products with a stable base. A continuous PVC or PU belt can support items across the carrying surface. Modular belts offer different surface patterns and may be useful where drainage or a particular transfer is needed.
Plastic chain and flexible chain conveyors can follow guided routes, while spiral systems help move products between levels where floor space is limited. The exact choice depends on the product and the complete line layout.
Bring the details that make selection easier
A line sketch, photographs and the intended duty give the CBMS team a practical starting point. Include product size and mass, target rate, route, transfer points and any cleaning or material requirements.
If an existing conveyor is being replaced, note the installed belt or chain series and any recurring issues. That helps the team compare a replacement with the rest of the line.
